How to create an email account in cpanel control panel?

To create an email account, login to your hosting control panel by typing the given below url with your domain name on your browser,

 

https://yourdomainname.com/cpanel

 

or

 

http://yourdomainname.com:2082

 

Now type the cpanel control panel credentials you have received from the web host in the control panel login page.

 

If you have entered the cpanel control panel’s home page,  go on to EMAIL menu and click the Email Accounts icon or type ‘email accounts’ in the search box. You will see ‘Email Accounts’ icon getting short listed. Click that icon.

 

Now you will be moved on to Email Accounts page. In the right corner of the page there is a button labeled CREATE. Click that button.

 

Now you will see the last page where you can create the email accounts.  In the domain drop down menu you will see the domain name and the sub-domains (If you have created any). By default your domain name will be selected. Leave it undisturbed.

 

Now in the username text field please type your prefix of your desired email address and then type or generated password in the password field. Let the password be strong or complex enough that the hackers wouldn’t be able to find it easy to guess.

 

In the optional settings you will be able to set the storage size of the email account.

 

Let the upcoming other options

 

Automatically Create Folders for Plus Addressing

&

Send a welcome email with instructions to set up a mail client.

 

Be undisturbed.

 

It is all done, now click CREATE button.

 

That’s it; your professional email account has been created.
